Foundedin February 1950 as "Chemische Fabrik Lauenstein GmbH" in Lauenstein am Ith, today's SIL Lackfabrik GmbH & Co. KG Spezialindustriellacke has consistently developed into a renowned, medium-sized manufacturer of coatings, paints and preparations of various kinds with a sophisticated portfolio since mid 1970. The affiliation to CG GROUP enables us to further optimize services and performance for our customers.
Trusting and cooperative partnerships with renowned raw material producers are the basis for our successful work. This is reflected in the strong customer base we have built up over the years. Our development department, which is consistently focused on innovation, has opened up avenues for SIL Lackfabrik GmbH & Co. KG Spezialindustriellacke to renowned groups, processors and producers throughout Europe.
Our product portfolio
Our product portfolio has continuously adapted to market requirements. In numerous cases, customized customer solutions have emerged. The SIL product range clearly shows that grades and preparations for specific applications continue to gain in importance.
In addition, we have continued to develop and specialize in other business areas. For example, in 2023 we repositioned ourselves in the area of fire protection and, with great expertise, also produce tailor-made solutions according to the wishes of our customers.
